We are seeking a Paediatric Registrar to join a busy referral hospital in NSW. Become part of a multidisciplinary team caring for newborns, children and adolescents, with consultant support to develop your skills and take the next step in your career.

The Opportunity

Enjoy wide-ranging clinical work across acute paediatrics and neonatal care, supporting children and families.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assessing and managing acute paediatric presentations and inpatient admissions.
- Contributing to neonatal assessment and care within your experience and scope of practice.
- Reviewing children presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Developing treatment plans in consultation with senior clinicians.
- Communicating with families and carers throughout their child’s care.
- Coordinating discharge planning and follow-up with community providers.
- Participating in teaching, clinical handovers and quality improvement.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome doctors with recent, relevant paediatric experience who meet one of the following:

- Onshore doctors holding current AHPRA registration appropriate to the role.
- International doctors eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway.
- International paediatricians assessed by the RACP as substantially comparable, seeking a role aligned with their assessment requirements.

You will bring sound clinical judgement, clear communication and a compassionate approach to caring for children and families.

Appointment is subject to registration eligibility and the service’s ability to meet any individual supervision or college requirements.
