Insurance Brokerage | Career Progression Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available for an ambitious Assistant Account Executive or junior Account Executive to join an established and growing insurance brokerage.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with existing insurance experience who is looking to take the next step in their career, develop their technical broking knowledge and work towards managing their own portfolio of clients.
Ideally, you will have experience within a Tier 1 insurance brokerage, although candidates from smaller or independent brokerages will absolutely be considered. For the right person, the business is happy to invest in your development and provide the training and support needed to progress.
The Opportunity
- Support experienced brokers and account executives with the management of a varied portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Assist with renewals, new business, quotations and policy administration.
- Liaise with insurers, underwriters and clients to ensure the smooth delivery of broking services.
- Develop your technical knowledge across a range of general insurance products.
- Gradually take on increased responsibility and client ownership.
- Work towards managing your own portfolio and becoming a fully‑fledged Insurance Broker.
About You
- Previous experience within the general insurance industry is essential.
- Ideally, experience working within a Tier 1 insurance brokerage, although this is not essential.
- A background in an Assistant Account Executive, Assistant Broker or junior Account Executive position would be highly regarded.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and develop.
- Someone ambitious who is keen to progress into a client‑facing broking role and ultimately manage their own book of business.
