We are seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our dynamic production team at Brisbane Laser Cutting Services in Deception Bay, Queensland. As a full-time Brake Press Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and fabrication of high-quality metal products for our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Accurately operate and maintain our state-of-the-art brake press machinery to bend, shape and form stainless steel components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work orders to ensure precise fabrication of parts
- Perform quality checks on finished products to maintain our high standards
- Contribute to a safe and efficient production environment by following all safety protocols
- Collaborate with the wider production team to meet tight deadlines and delivery schedules
- Assist with general housekeeping and workshop maintenance as required
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Brake Press Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Forklift licence highly regarded
