Johansen Insurance Brokers is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and highly skilled Broker Assistant to join our team in our Bendigo office.
We’re looking for someone who is ready to take the next step with their career and assist senior brokers internally whilst also managing a portfolio of your own. You will be organised, customer-focused and enjoy working as part of a supportive and professional team.

About the Role
Depending on your qualifications and experience, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and servicing an existing portfolio of clients
- Assisting with new business, renewals and policy amendments
- Preparing insurance quotations, proposals and policy documentation
- Liaising with clients, insurers and underwriters
- Providing exceptional customer service and building strong client relationships
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Providing administrative and operational support to the broking team
About You The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in insurance broking or a broker support role
- Insurance Broking qualifications (Diploma or Tier 1 highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Robust attention to detail and organisational abilities
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a team
- A positive attitude, initiative and a willingness to learn
- Experience using insurance broking software, particularly Insight, would be advantageous however training will be provided
