Board Director Opportunities – UNIQ You

· Girls’ career education and industries where women are under-represented

· Help shape the national growth of a purpose-led not-for-profit

· Seeking government funding, education or scale-up experience

About UNIQ You

UNIQ You inspires high school girls by connecting them in real-time conversations with trailblazing women working in under-represented fields. Using technology to bring these conversations into classrooms, we help girls discover and pursue diverse career pathways with confidence and curiosity. To date we have worked with over 10,000 girls across Australia.

We aim to increase the number of girls considering and pursuing careers in industries where women are under-represented. By challenging gender stereotypes and building understanding of these sectors within the education system, we help girls see the full range of career possibilities and make confident choices. In turn, we strengthen the talent pipeline for employers and support better workforce outcomes.

Time commitment and remuneration The board meets quarterly, virtually, with one annual strategy working session and associated board meeting usually held in person. From time to time there may be additional shorter virtual board meetings required as circumstances demand. These are an exception.
