Sid Fogg's Coaches is a well-established, family-owned transport and tourism business operating since 1956.
We are seeking a practical, commercially focused General Manager to lead our coach business, with a strong emphasis on profitable growth, cost control and operational efficiency.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands that business success comes from growing revenue, managing costs, and getting the best out of people and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth through new business opportunities, customer relationships and effective pricing.
- Take ownership of budgets, profitability and P&L; performance.
- Identify and implement cost savings without compromising safety, quality or customer service.
- Improve fleet utilisation, operational efficiency and productivity.
- Lead,
manage and hold staff accountable for performance.
- Monitor financial and operational results and take corrective action where required.
- Develop a culture of accountability, efficiency and continuous improvement.
About You
- Experience in general management or a similar leadership role.
- Positive commercial understanding, including budgets and cost control.
- Strong people management and organisational skills.
- Willingness to be hands-on and take ownership of results.
- Experience in transport, tourism or a service-based business would be advantageous.
