Private practice, with a team around youPaeds Plus is looking for general and developmental paediatricians for opportunities across our established Currambine practice and our planned Claremont clinic in Perth.

You do the medicine. We run the business.

We bring paediatricians, GPs, psychiatry and allied health together around children and their families. Our existing team includes seven paediatricians, with occupational therapy, speech pathology and dietetics alongside medical care. We believe positive paediatric care comes from clinicians working together, supported by people and systems that make their working day easier.

Help shape what comes next in Claremont

We’re developing a purpose-designed multidisciplinary hub in Claremont, bringing paediatric medical care and allied health together in a setting designed around children, families and the clinicians who care for them.

Our vision is one front door for families, from birth through the school years: connected assessment, diagnosis and ongoing care, with clinicians able to work closely together and families better supported through each stage.

The planned clinic includes consultation, therapy and sensory-assessment spaces. We want an setting that feels welcoming to children and practical for the people working there, with space for collaboration, learning and a growing range of clinical interests.

For joining paediatricians, this is an opportunity to contribute early: help shape care pathways, bring ideas for services, develop your clinical interests and build a team that shares your commitment to high-quality care. You’ll have a voice in how the practice develops and how we work together.

Claremont is targeting a July 2027 opening, subject to funding and delivery. We welcome conversations about joining Currambine now or becoming part of the Claremont team as it develops.

A role that fits your interests

Our work spans general paediatrics, developmental concerns, ADHD and autism. We’ll discuss a clinical mix that suits your skills and interests, with full-time and part-time options and both employment and contractor models.

Whether you’re moving into private practice or want to combine it with hospital work, teaching, research or family commitments, we’d like to hear what would make the role work for you.

What you can expect

- Clinical autonomy within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, with colleagues available for discussion
- and shared learning
- An established practice team handling the business and administrative side, so you can focus on
- children and their families
- Systems, technology and practical support for your working day, including a bookkeeper who can
- liaise with your accountant
- Direct access to management to discuss your practice, ideas and concerns
- Structured CPD for one hour every four weeks, except Christmas, covering ethics and case
- discussion, available on Zoom or recorded

- Professional development leave for employed clinicians, in line with the public system
- A welcoming workplace with shared lunches, big windows and the occasional LEGO build
