A Day in the Life of an Exploration Field Technician The office has red dirt, big skies and a very good view at knock-off.
One day you're out in the scrub with a rake, a sieve and a stack of calico bags, collecting soil samples. The next you're at the rig, working alongside the drillers and geologists. Then it's back to the core yard to lay out, mark up and record the core.
The boots get dirty, the days are physical and the detail matters, because the samples we collect help our clients find mineral deposits.
Foxtrot Solutions is growing, and we're looking for Mineral Exploration Field Technicians to join our team in Central West NSW. We're hiring from entry level through to senior technicians.
The details
- Casual, or 3, 6 or 12 month contracts when agreed with clients
- Project-based rosters, with preference for DIDO workers within 5hr radius.
- Accommodation provided, plus meals or an allowance
- Pay in line with the Mining Industry Award 2020 [MA000011]
- NSW High Risk Forklift Licence and Australian work rights required (no visa sponsorship)
