About The Role

As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will help design, develop, test, and deliver modern web applications. You will use Angular and the broader JavaScript and TypeScript ecosystem to build responsive, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces. The role combines hands-on development with a strong focus on quality engineering, automated testing, performance, and continuous delivery.

You will work closely with product, design, API, and engineering colleagues in an agile environment. You will contribute to technical decisions, share knowledge, and help establish practices that enable teams to release dependable features efficiently. You will also build or support Node.js APIs for front-end features and integrate applications with REST and JSON web services.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a minimum of eight years of experience in modern web application development and advanced proficiency with Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Sass or Less, ES6+, and TypeScript. You should understand responsive and component-based web design, front-end architecture, and page optimization.



Experience with Foundation or comparable responsive frameworks is valuable.

You will bring hands-on commercial experience with behavior-driven and test-driven development, particularly Jest and Cypress. You should be confident creating unit, integration, and performance tests for user interfaces and APIs, as well as configuration, build, and test scripts for continuous delivery environments.

Additional experience should include Webpack or Parcel; build tools such as Gulp or Grunt; npm or Yarn; and Git workflows across multiple teams. You should understand how to implement CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, from code checks through production deployment. Familiarity with JIRA or a similar work-tracking platform and experience in rapid-paced agile delivery are expected.

Practical knowledge of functional programming, Node.js API development, REST/JSON services, and techniques for preventing cross-site scripting (XSS) is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust, reusable front-end features using Angular, TypeScript, and modern web standards. Translate product and design requirements into responsive, accessible interfaces and reusable components. Optimize pages for performance,



maintainability, and a consistent user experience across supported devices and browsers.

Write and maintain automated tests, including unit, integration, end-to-end, and performance tests. Build and improve scripts, bundling, and delivery workflows to support dependable releases. Contribute to implementing and maintaining automated Bamboo CI/CD pipelines, applying secure coding practices, and identifying opportunities to prevent vulnerabilities such as XSS.

Integrate front-end applications with REST/JSON services and create Node.js APIs that support backend-for-frontend requirements. Collaborate with product partners and engineering teams, participate in agile planning and delivery, manage work transparently, review code, troubleshoot issues, and share technical knowledge with colleagues.
