- Ensure all technical documentation clearly communicates fabric, trim, measurements, stitching and finishing requirements.
- Review graded sizes to ensure consistent fit and proportions across the size range.
- Identify and correct measurement discrepancies and technical inconsistencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for approved styles.

3. Occasion Wear & Premium Fabric Expertise

- Apply strong technical knowledge to occasion wear, cocktail dresses, formal dresses and bridal party collections.

- Understand the technical requirements of fabrics including satin, silk blends, chiffon, georgette, crepe, organza, tulle, lace, velvet, jacquard and embellished textiles.
- Assess fabric drape, weight, stretch, recovery, transparency and overall garment performance.
- Understand construction requirements for sequins, beading, embroidery, metallic fabrics and specialty finishes.
- Provide technical recommendations for corsetry, boning, internal support, lining, cups, bust support and structured bodices.
- Recommend appropriate linings, interlinings, closures, seam finishes and construction techniques.
- Identify potential fabric and construction risks before bulk production.

4. Sample Review & Technical Approval

- Lead the technical review of prototypes, fit samples and pre-production samples.
- Measure samples against approved specifications and identify deviations.
- Provide clear and actionable technical feedback to suppliers.
- Manage technical sample revisions and ensure all fit and construction issues are resolved.
- Maintain detailed fit comments, sample review records and approval documentation.
- Provide final technical approval to confirm garments meet the required fit, construction and quality standards before bulk production.

5. Supplier & Factory Communication

- Communicate directly with offshore manufacturers on fit, measurements, construction and technical requirements.
- Provide transparent technical instructions, fit comments and construction recommendations.
- Work with factories to troubleshoot garment construction, fit and quality issues.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve workmanship, consistency and technical execution.
- Ensure technical information is accurately communicated and understood throughout the development process.
- Build effective working relationships with manufacturers to support quality and production standards.

6. Quality Assurance & Production Readiness

- Own garment fit, construction and workmanship standards across the collection.
- Ensure garments meet approved quality, measurement and construction specifications.
- Review pre-production samples to confirm consistency with approved technical standards.
- Identify recurring quality and construction issues and recommend corrective actions.

- Work closely with Production and Product Development to resolve technical concerns.
- Ensure all technical requirements are completed and approved before production handover.

7. Development Coordination

- Work closely with the Technical Product Developer to ensure technical requirements are incorporated throughout the development process.
- Support the Design team in translating creative concepts into technically achievable garments.
- Provide technical input on new silhouettes, fabrics, trims and construction methods.
- Ensure fit and technical approval milestones are achieved within the seasonal development critical path.
- Communicate technical risks and potential delays to the relevant teams.
- Support a smooth handover from development into bulk production.

Skills & Experience:

- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is essential.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in garment technology, technical product development or a similar technical fashion role.
