About the role
You will be the main point of contact for your clients, understanding their needs and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Working closely with our administration team, you will prioritise jobs and ensure the right people are assigned to the right tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing strong relationships with a portfolio of clients.
- Assessing plumbing issues and providing practical technical advice.
- Working with the administration team to prioritise, schedule and resource planned and reactive work.
- Matching tasks to the skills, qualifications and experience of tradespeople and apprentices.
- Supervising, supporting and holding field staff accountable for safety, workmanship and performance.
- Running toolbox meetings and performing site safety audits.
- Monitoring job progress, resolving issues and keeping clients informed.
- Reviewing service reports and supporting accurate quotes and timely invoicing.
- Identifying opportunities for repairs, improvements and additional services.
- Representing Tradewise professionally and promoting our brand and company values.
About you
You will bring:
- A recognised plumbing trade qualification.
- Ideally, experience in commercial plumbing maintenance and service.
- Experience supervising and managing tradespeople and apprentices.
- Strong technical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.
- The ability to prioritise competing demands and follow through on commitments.
- Clear communication skills and confidence dealing with clients, field staff and administration teams.
- A practical commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- A solid work ethic and the willingness to lead by example.
You take ownership, back your team and address problems early. You understand that strong client relationships are built through reliable service, honest communication and doing what you say you will do.
