Australian Framing Solutions (AFS) is looking for motivated Detailing Cadets to join their team at Loganholme.
AFS manufactures lightweight prefabricated steel frames, trusses and floor systems. This is an opportunity to develop technical and design skills while learning how architectural and engineering plans are transformed into detailed steel frame structures.
You don't need previous industry experience. This prospect could suit someone who enjoys computers, gaming, design or figuring out how things fit together and is interested in building a career in construction or manufacturing.
What you'll learn:
- Read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
- Create 3D models of steel frame structures.
- Produce structural steel and installation drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare production files for manufacturing.
- Prepare fastener lists for frame installation.
What we're looking for:
- An interest in building and construction.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- A willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
- Reliability and pride in your work.

Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week
