At ATEC, we’re using technology and carbon markets to transform household cooking across Asia and Africa. Our IoT-enabled electric induction stoves and biodigesters replace biomass-fuelled cooking, improve household health, and generate digitally verified carbon credits.

We’re looking for a Head of Investment & Asset Management to lead our capital strategy, secure financing for our growing project portfolio, and turn investment opportunities into bankable, high-impact projects.

This is an opportunity to combine investment expertise with meaningful climate and social impact.

? What you’ll be doing:

- Lead capital raising: Develop and execute project and corporate financing strategies across debt, equity, carbon-linked and blended finance.
- Structure and close deals: Originate, negotiate and execute investment transactions, including project financing and carbon offtake agreements.
- Build investor partnerships: Develop relationships with impact investors, development finance institutions (DFIs), climate funds, family offices and institutional investors.
- Manage investment performance: Oversee portfolio returns, project cash flows, carbon credit issuance, offtake delivery and investor obligations.
- Drive portfolio growth: Identify opportunities to optimise investments, manage risk and recycle capital into new projects.
- Support market expansion: Work with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and investment cases for new markets.

? What we’re looking for:

- A Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field,



or an equivalent skilled qualification such as CFA, CA or CPA, supported by relevant experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in investment management, project or structured finance, or capital raising, including 5+ years in transaction origination and execution.
- A proven track record of structuring and closing investment transactions.
- Strong financial modelling, commercial negotiation and investment structuring capabilities.
- Established relationships with relevant investors and capital providers.
- Experience in emerging markets, with an understanding of country, currency and counterparty risks.
- Experience in carbon markets or climate finance, including familiarity with carbon credit mechanisms.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, globally distributed start-up or scale-up environment.
