Who Is Charlotte?
Here at We Are Charlotte (WRC) we give businesses and People leaders a highly-skilled team to partner with and deliver the right mix of strategic and hands-on support to unlock the capacity and capability to achieve their Workforce Transformation agenda and goals.
We have created a phenomenal team of talented people and we work across a variety of sectors and our work ranges from long term embedded engagements to focused project work. Our work spans four key stages - assessment, design, implementation and embedding - ensuring that the transformation we help to shape, actually sticks. We work with CEO’s, Founders, People teams, and Investment partners to solve for their transformation needs. All of this keeps the days at WRC varied, challenging and fun!
Our culture is built on trust, collaboration, and partnership. We bring simplicity to the complex world of People, delivering outcomes we can all be proud of. ‘Good people at work’ is our company motto, and if it’s yours too then you’ve come to the right place.
Role Overview The Head of Transformation Advisory is responsible for leading a team of Advisors to manage a portfolio of clients and their Workforce Transformation needs. This role is required to balance client priorities, provide senior advisory on strategic/complex matters, and to effectively lead and manage a team to build their capability, and ensure that all client deliverables are met. Strengthening client relationships over time, as well as building and sustaining a high performing team are two critical performance KPIs for the role.
Given the nature of transformation advisory, there is a strong ‘program management’ accountability for this role - ensuring that projects are planned and delivered in a way that ensures capacity, workload planning and client management are optimised towards WRC’s goals and targets.
In the last month in the role, you might have:
- Led change readiness sessions with a client’s executive and middle managers to agree what needs to change, when, and the role each leader will play
- Undertaken a data and sentiment informed diagnostic of a workforce, sizing the prospect and building the case for change
- Designed a comprehensive program management plan to deliver a complex client project
- Hosted client workshops or strategy sessions focused on organisational design, digital transformation or culture and accountability models
- Provided strategic guidance in a company-wide restructuring effort, collaborating with senior leadership to align the new structure with business objectives
- Coordinated a team to implement a large-scale change program
- Partnered with vendors or strategic partners to coordinate the delivery of capability that is not core to WRC’s offering
- Participated as a senior member of a client’s project team
- Supported with business development, attending discovery calls with new clients or supporting the development of proposal documentation
- Advised on complex employee relations issues, including consultation through a restructure
What we’re looking for:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in a Management Consulting role, specifically with Workforce/People transformation experience
- Strategic thinker and planner, able to develop and execute on strategies that align with organisational objectives

- Proven capability in program and project management
- Proven experience in organisational design and change management, from change readiness through to embedding new ways of working
- Working knowledge of consultation and employment relations obligations during restructures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to analyse Workforce data, set baselines and provide strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in Workforce software and systems.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Skill in facilitation and hosting workshops or presentations with Senior/Executive stakeholders
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging Workforce trends and practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
