We're exclusively partnering with an international bank who is establishing its Australian branch and is hiring a Risk Manager to build out the second line risk function from the ground up.
Reporting to the local Head of Risk and Compliance, you will own day to day oversight of market, liquidity and operational risk, initially supporting the branch through regulatory authorisation and operational readiness, then running ongoing monitoring, limits and reporting once the branch commences.
The role
- Build and maintain the branch risk management framework, policies and limits
- Oversee market and liquidity risk, including monitoring, stress testing and escalation
- Manage operational risk and resilience across the branch
- Provide risk reporting to local and regional management
