Live-on site Assistant Hotel Manager - Surfers Paradise

$80,000 + super + free on-site accommodation

Vision Hotels is in the heart of Surfers Paradise, steps from the beach and the best of the Gold Coast. We're a close-knit team that takes pride in giving guests a great stay, and we're looking for a hands-on Assistant Hotel Manager to join us.

The role

This is a live-on-site position, so it suits someone who loves hospitality and wants to be at the centre of the action. You'll work alongside the Hotel Manager to run day-to-day operations, lead the team, and make sure every guest leaves happy.

What you'll do

Support the Hotel Manager across all areas of operations, and take charge when they're off-site

Lead, roster, train and motivate front office, housekeeping and maintenance staff

Handle guest enquiries, feedback and complaints quickly and professionally

Look after reservations, check-ins and check-outs, and help drive occupancy and revenue

Keep an eye on budgets, costs,



stock and supplier relationships

Keep the property up to Vision Hotels' standards for presentation, maintenance and WHS

Be on call for after-hours issues and emergencies, on a rostered basis

About you

2+ years in a supervisory or assistant management role in hotels, resorts or serviced apartments

Solid leadership skills, with a calm and practical approach under pressure

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Experience with property management systems is a plus

Comfortable with a rotating roster that includes weekends and public holidays
