Role Description The Senior Associate Solicitor will manage a varied caseload, providing high-quality legal advice and representation across key practice areas relevant to Sunshine Coast families and businesses. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients, drafting and reviewing legal documents, overseeing conveyancing and commercial transactions, and managing matters related to estates, family law, and employment issues as appropriate. The role involves supervising junior team members, contributing to firm strategy and business development, and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, practical communication.

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Sunshine Coast, QLD,



with a mix of office-based work at the Buderim practice and some work from home as agreed.

Qualifications

- Solid legal expertise in core practice areas, including Law relevant to private clients and small to medium businesses.
- Demonstrated experience in Conveyancing and Commercial Real Estate matters, including property transactions and related contracts.
- Knowledge of Family Law, with the ability to handle sensitive client matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience or working knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, including advisory work on workplace rights and obligations.
- Admission as a Solicitor in Australia and a current practising certificate, with several years of post-admission experience in a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in plain English.
- Proven ability to manage files independently, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior legal staff and contributing to client relationship management and business development.
- Commitment to ethical practice, client care, and ongoing professional development.
