The Role

Reporting to the General Manager of People & Culture & with a direct report, P&C; Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in delivering both strategic and operational P&C; support across the organisation. This position is responsible for driving an inclusive people strategy that supports organisational growth and fosters a positive employee experience.

This will initially commence on a temporary contract starting ASAP with the view to convert permanent for the right candidate. They operate Monday-Friday, 38 hour week, hybrid model offered.

Duties

- Build strong relationships with leaders and employees, providing tailored HR advice and business partnering support
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the P&C; Coordinator
- Provide guidance across employee relations, performance management, grievances and disciplinary matters
- Support organisational development initiatives, employee engagement and retention strategies
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives to strengthen leadership capability and employee performance
- Review, develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and best practice
- Support workplace health and safety initiatives, wellbeing strategies,



psychological safety and workers compensation processes

Your Profile

- Previous experience in a similar hands-on P&C; Business Partner or P&C; Advisor - 3 years minimum
- Previous experience in a similar white collar industry (including membership bodies, NFP, professional services etc.)
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, National Employment Standards and Modern Awards
- Be available to commence ASAP
- Have full working rights in Australia!
