Alchemy Recruitment is partnering with a local government client to support them in recruiting for four Contact Centre Agents on an 8-week contract based in Fortitude Valley, starting Monday 9 November.

About the role

- Pay rate of $34.96 to $38.75 per hour + super
- 8-week contract, 9 November 2026 to 4 January 2027, 38 hours per week
- Hybrid, with two office days per week following a one-week onsite induction (8:30am to 4:30pm)
- First point of contact for customers via phone, email and webchat
- Manage email and case-work queues, drafting individual written responses
- Review, validate and process customer information and documentation in CRM
- Resolve general enquiries and escalate complex cases appropriately

Preferred Requirements

- Contact centre or customer service experience, ideally in government, utilities or another regulated workplace
- High-volume email processing,



data entry and written correspondence within a CRM
- Strong written communication, with the ability to draft clear, customer-focused responses
- Proven track record meeting quality, productivity and turnaround KPIs
- Confident navigating multiple systems at once
- Ability to interpret procedures and business rules to make accurate decisions
- Commitment to privacy, confidentiality and data security
- Available to start Monday 9 November and work through to 4 January

Preferred Qualifications

- Year 12 or equivalent
- Certificate III or IV in Customer Engagement, Business or similar (advantageous, not essential)
