Immediate Start: Mining Truck Operator – FIFO from Perth ✈️
We're looking for a skilled Surface and Underground Service Crew Operator with Logistics Operations experience to join a energetic site team on an initial 6 month FIFO contract.

About the role

The Service Crew Operator supports underground mining operations in Western Australia by servicing, refuelling and maintaining materials handling and transport fleet equipment. Reporting to the S26 Leading Hand or S26 Site Supervisor, the role contributes to safe, reliable and efficient site operations through equipment support, housekeeping and general assistance.

Key responsibilities

- Perform scheduled and ad-hoc servicing tasks on underground equipment, including refuelling, fluid top-ups, basic greasing and cleaning.

- Assist with equipment mobilisation, demobilisation and laydown area organisation.

- Support Truck and ITC Operators with load preparation, restraint and materials handling.

- Maintain service vehicles and tools in a clean, organised and serviceable condition.

- Identify and report equipment defects and maintenance requirements.





- Participate in housekeeping of underground work areas and surface laydown areas.

- Comply with site safety procedures, isolation requirements, environmental controls and Western Australian mines safety legislation.

- Assist with emergency response and incident support as required.

What we're looking for

- Experience in underground mining or a heavy equipment servicing environment.

- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow service procedures.

- Current relevant tickets, or the ability to obtain forklift, light vehicle or plant-related competencies as required.

- A strong focus on safety and attention to detail.

- Ability to pass mine site medical and drug and alcohol screening.

- Valid driver's licence.

- Previous experience as a service crew operator or trades assistant on underground mine sites is desirable.

- Basic first aid and fire extinguisher training is desirable.

- Commitment to site-specific induction, ongoing competency assessment and Capital PFS Australia standards.
