CASF supplies solid surface and timber products to the building and joinery industry. We’re looking for an experienced, reliable Storeperson to join our warehouse and dispatch team.

About the role

This is a hands-on warehouse role, with approximately 80% of your time spent picking, packing, wrapping and strapping sheet materials onto pallets, and 20% operating a forklift.

You’ll be active throughout the day, with regular bending, manual handling and frequently getting on and off the forklift safely. You’ll work closely with the team to prepare customer orders accurately and get them dispatched on time.

Your responsibilities

- Pick solid surface sheets, timber products, samples and accessories against customer orders.

- Wrap, protect, strap and label sheet materials on pallets for transport.

- Operate forklifts fitted with 3.6-metre-long tynes to move stock and load and unload trucks.

- Check product types, quantities and condition before dispatch.

- Receive deliveries, check incoming stock and put products away correctly.





- Record picking and stock movements in our warehouse system.

- Assist with stocktakes and maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.

What you’ll bring

- A current LF forklift licence and practical experience operating forklifts with long tynes.

- Previous warehouse experience in picking, packing or dispatch.

- Experience safely handling large, long or easily damaged products.

- The ability to safely perform the physical duties described above.

- Valuable attention to detail when checking products, quantities and paperwork.

- A reliable approach to attendance, clear communication and a willingness to share the workload.

- Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn our warehouse system.

- Experience working for a supplier to the building or joinery industry would be highly regarded, particularly with sheet materials, timber, panels or similar products.
