Best Friend Pet Centre/K9 and Co' is seeking enthusiastic and animal-loving individuals to join our team as Summer/Christmas Casuals. This is a casual role, perfect for students or those seeking flexible work during the festive season. You will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional care and service to our furry customers and their owners.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with the daily care and handling of pets, including feeding, grooming, and exercising
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to pet owners
- Resetting and maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
- Supporting the full-time team as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the business
What we're looking for
- A passion for animals and a genuine interest in the pet care industry
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Availability to work during the busy summer and Christmas periods. Best Friend Pet Centre is open 365 days a year, so availability on public holidays is essential.
