The opportunity Take a foundational capability and make it market-leading. Lead a complete overhaul of how a major financial services organisation governs and oversees its external distribution partners. You’ll redesign the operating model, build the team and set clear standards for the wider industry.

What you’ll do

Build and lead a team transforming third-party governance and oversight

Set explicit standards and expectations that reflect evolving regulatory and community expectations

Lead investigations into conduct issues, including complaints, fraud, cyber and regulatory matters, and oversee corrective action





Strengthen oversight through data-driven monitoring and risk-based assurance

Partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Product, Risk and Legal

Enhance the risk framework and deliver reporting to governance forums

About you

5–8+ years in risk, compliance, assurance, financial crime or operational risk within banking or financial services

A track record of transforming or redesigning a risk or governance function

Proven people leadership and the ability to build a high-performance culture

Strong knowledge of key financial services regulation

Strong communicator who builds credible relationships at all levels

Desirable: exposure to risk management in financial advice or distribution
