- Based Perth CBD with WFH /n Purchasing Supervisor Based Eastern Suburbs | Immediate Start | Initial 3-Month Contract with Potential ExtensionAn excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to join a busy procurement and supply team supporting a large operational business. This role is commencing immediately to cover long service leave, with solid potential for the position to continue beyond the initial three-month period.
Reporting into the procurement leadership team, you will oversee a small team of purchasing professionals while ensuring the timely and efficient procurement of goods and services across the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and support a small purchasing team /n
- Manage daily purchasing activities and workflows /n
- Ensure purchasing processes comply with company policies and procedures /n
- Support supplier engagement, negotiations and issue resolution /n
- Monitor purchasing performance, priorities and delivery outcomes /n
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to meet operational requirements /n
- Assist with contract and supply agreement administration /n About You/n /n




- Previous experience supervising or leading a procurement or purchasing team /n
- Solid purchasing, procurement or supply chain background /n
- Working knowledge of supply agreements and contracts /n
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills /n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities /n
- ERP system experience and strong computer skills /n
- Available to commence immediately or at very short notice /n What's on Offer/n /n

- Solid likelihood of ongoing employment beyond the initial term /n
