Are you an experienced Community & Stakeholder Engagement skilled with a passion for building trusted relationships, driving meaningful community outcomes, and delivering impactful engagement strategies.
We are seeking a Community & Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to join a high-profile NSW Government team and play a key role in connecting communities, stakeholders, and project teams across major initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver strategic community and stakeholder engagement programs.
- Design and implement engagement and communication strategies that influence decision-making
- Create compelling content across digital, social media, presentations, web,
and internal communication channels.
- Lead community consultations, workshops, forums, and engagement events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government, industry, community, and Aboriginal stakeholders.
- Use research, analytics, and insights to measure engagement effectiveness and inform future strategies.
About You
- Demonstrated experience in community and stakeholder engagement, communications, or public affairs.
- Experience developing and implementing engagement strategies within complex environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders.
- Experience working within Government or large infrastructure/project environments will be highly regarded.
