BIC Consolidated is seeking a highly experienced, motivated and hands-on Area Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial cleaning sites across Victoria.

This is a fast-paced and demanding role requiring a strong work ethic, exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously.

You will take ownership of your portfolio, ensuring operational excellence, high cleaning standards, contract compliance and strong client relationships.

The successful candidate will be a proactive leader who thrives in a energetic environment, works autonomously and takes accountability for operational performance and results.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Site Operations: Oversee and manage a portfolio of commercial cleaning sites, ensuring consistent service delivery, contract compliance and operational efficiency.

Leadership & Team Management: Lead, support and develop operational managers, supervisors and cleaning teams to achieve performance objectives.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively managing expectations, resolving concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Quality Assurance & Compliance: Maintain high cleaning standards, conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies and WHS requirements.

Operational Systems: Utilise automated operational platforms and reporting systems to monitor performance, manage workflows and drive efficiencies.

Budget & Contract Management: Monitor operational budgets, staffing,



resources and contract performance to achieve financial and operational targets.

Problem Solving: Respond effectively to operational challenges, manage competing priorities and implement timely solutions.

Business Development: Identify opportunities for contract retention, additional services and business growth.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to operational processes, compliance and service delivery.

About You

We are looking for an experienced operations leader who can demonstrate:

Extensive multi-site management experience, preferably overseeing a portfolio of sites within commercial cleaning, facilities management or a similar service-based industry.

Sound commercial cleaning knowledge, including cleaning methods, equipment, quality standards and operational requirements.

A strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Proven ability to work autonomously, take full ownership of responsibilities and deliver results with minimal supervision.

Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of competing priorities.





Strong experience using automated operational platforms, digital reporting systems and workforce management tools.

A demonstrated track record of maintaining high compliance standards across safety, quality, contractual and operational requirements.

Strong leadership skills, with experience managing large and geographically dispersed teams.

Excellent communication, problem-solving and client relationship management skills.

Experience managing operational budgets, contract KPIs and performance targets.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.

Flexibility to respond to operational requirements outside standard working hours when necessary.

Full working rights in Australia.

Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across multiple sites throughout Victoria.

Ability to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check.
