We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Marine Fitter / Rigging Technician to join our busy workshop team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for bringing new trailer boat packages to life—from engine rigging and pre-delivery inspections to installing custom 12V marine electronics and accessories.

Key responsibilities

Rigging new outboard motors, mechanical/digital controls, and gauge systems

Installing marine electronics (sounders, GPS, transducers, dual battery setups, anchor winches)

Trailer setup, hull adjustments, and pre-delivery testing (PDI)

General marine accessory installation and custom fit-outs

Maintaining clean, productive workshop standards and documentation

About you

Trade qualification in Marine Mechanical / Marine Craft Construction OR strong,



proven experience in 12V auto-electrical and trailer boat fitting

Experience with Suzuki and plate alloy hull fitout desirable

High attention to detail with clean, reliable wiring standards

Ability to work independently as well as part of a tight-knit team

Current Driver's Licence (Boat Licence / Marine Licence highly regarded)
