We’re looking for a

Senior Project Manager

to lead the delivery of some of our bigger, more complex fitout projects – the ones that need strong leadership, transparent thinking and someone who knows how to get it done.

This is a key role in our Delivery team, owning projects end-to-end while guiding and lifting the capability of the team around you.

The role As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll be the on-field captain – keeping projects on track, making sound decisions under pressure, and driving strong commercial and delivery outcomes.

You’ll bring structure, clarity and momentum to delivery, working closely with your delivery team (CA/PC, Site Manager) and key stakeholders to keep projects aligned and performing.

You’ll also play a key role in the overall client experience, making sure projects are run in a way that keeps clients informed, supported and confident throughout delivery.

What you’ll be responsible for

Leading the delivery of complex or higher-value fitout projects from planning through to completion

Managing programme, cost,



quality and risk to ensure strong project outcomes

Driving commercial performance, including forecasts, variations and cost control

Providing day-to-day guidance to CAs, PCs and Site Managers

Identifying and managing risks early, before they impact delivery

Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors

Maintaining high standards across safety, quality, compliance and reporting

Projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard

Clients feel informed, supported and confident throughout delivery

Projects are well planned, realistic and commercially disciplined

Risks and issues are identified early and managed before they escape

Commercial performance is well understood and actively managed

Delivery standards are consistent across documentation, compliance and reporting

Challenges are worked through quickly, keeping projects moving and protecting margin

Teams feel supported, clear and aligned across delivery

Projects are achieving UROC (our operational excellence program) status

You’re confident in your judgement, commercially aware, and lead from the front.

You’re likely someone who is:

Comfortable owning more complex projects and making sound calls under pressure

Commercially aware and understands how decisions impact margin and risk

Grounded and practical in how you lead and support your team

Clear and professional in how you communicate with clients and stakeholders

A strong problem solver who focuses on outcomes, not noise

Naturally aligned to the Unita Way – you take responsibility, work well with others, and look for better ways of doing things

Experience we’re looking for

Demonstrated ability to lead project teams across delivery

Strong understanding of commercial, contractual and delivery risk

Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and contract documentation

Trade and/or tertiary qualifications in Construction or Project Management (preferred)

Driver’s licence (Mandatory)
