PMB is Perth's largest mulch installer. We're a young, fast-growing business of 18 staff led by two owner-directors, and we invest in advanced machinery to deliver jobs faster and at scale. As we expand, we're looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to strengthen our financial management and support our next stage of growth.
The role
Reporting to the Directors, you'll own PMB's financial and administrative management and give the business clear, timely numbers to make decisions on.
- Permanent part time: 4 hours a day, 5 days a week (20 hours; 0.5 FTE)
Key responsibilities
- Keep the accounts up to date, overseeing our external bookkeeper
- Manage Xero and the financial components of our Odoo system
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Prepare and present monthly management reports to the Board
- Maintain and update P&L; and cash flow forecasts
- Prepare the annual budget and track performance against it
- Manage cash flow and cash controls
- Liaise with our banks
- Lead the ongoing improvement of the structures, processes and financial reporting of the business.
About you
Skills and experience
- A recognised accounting qualification (CA, CPA or equivalent) is desirable
- Management accounting experience, ideally in an SME
- Proven experience in forecasting and budgeting
- Xero experience; Odoo or similar ERP experience is a plus
