About the Company

Our client is a food industry business based in Melbourne's northern suburbs. The business is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day finance operations, month-end close and financial reporting on a five-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with inventory reconciliations and cost reporting.
- Support BAS preparation and other finance compliance requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies.

About You





- Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
- Previous experience in an Accountant or similar role.
- Strong Excel skills and experience using accounting systems.
- Positive attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in food, FMCG or manufacturing would be advantageous.
- Available to commit to the full five-month contract.
