Project Manager - Business Transformation & AI

Help shape and deliver business transformation through smarter processes, improved systems and the practical application of AI.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to work closely with the business to identify and shape transformation opportunities, improve existing processes and systems, and explore how AI and emerging technologies can be practically applied to deliver better business outcomes.

There's a broader vision for what the business wants to achieve, but the detail is still to be defined. Working closely with stakeholders across the organisation, you'll help identify opportunities, understand existing business challenges and translate the vision into clearly defined initiatives and actionable delivery plans.

A key part of the role will be exploring how AI can be practically applied to improve business processes and systems, while helping stakeholders understand the possibilities. You'll need to be comfortable engaging with people who may have limited technical or AI experience, building their understanding and bringing them along on the journey.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working through ambiguity, challenging existing processes and turning ideas into practical business improvements.

The Role:

- Work with business stakeholders to translate a high-level transformation vision into defined initiatives, priorities and delivery plans.
- Facilitate discussions and workshops to understand existing business processes, identify challenges and uncover opportunities for improvement.




- Apply an AI-first mindset to challenge traditional approaches and explore how AI, automation and emerging technologies can improve business processes and systems.
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency and deliver better business outcomes through technology.
- Help shape the transformation roadmap, defining requirements, scope, priorities, dependencies and expected outcomes.
- Lead agreed initiatives from initial discovery and definition through to implementation and delivery.
- Engage and influence stakeholders across the business, helping them understand the potential of AI and emerging technologies.
- Support stakeholders who may have limited technical or AI experience, building confidence and buy‑in around proposed solutions and changes.
- Work collaboratively with business and technology teams to ensure solutions are practical, achievable and deliver the intended outcomes.

What you’ll need:

You’ll need to be an experienced Project Manager with a background in business transformation, digital transformation or technology-enabled change. You must be comfortable working with a broad vision but without all the detail defined upfront, collaborating with stakeholders to explore opportunities, shape the approach and develop practical solutions.





- Proven experience delivering business transformation, process improvement or technology-enabled change initiatives.
- Experience taking high-level business objectives or strategic visions and translating them into defined projects, initiatives and delivery roadmaps.
- Strong discovery and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, understand business challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
- An understanding of AI, automation and emerging technologies, with an appreciation of how they can be applied to practical business challenges.
- The ability to communicate the possibilities of AI in straightforward business terms, particularly to stakeholders without a solid technical background.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge existing thinking and bring people on the journey.
- The ability to navigate ambiguity, take initiative and create structure where there isn't necessarily a defined path forward.
- Solid project management fundamentals, with the ability to manage initiatives through discovery, planning, implementation and delivery.
