With continued business growth and exciting projects ahead, they are looking for an experienced Project Director to join their team and play an integral role in delivering projects and building lasting client relationships.

THE ROLE.

An opportunity is available for a Project Director to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of client-side projects across Sydney.

You will oversee projects across the full development lifecycle, providing strategic direction, commercial oversight and leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.

Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors, you will drive project performance while managing budgets, programmes, procurement and stakeholder expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

- Lead client-side projects from feasibility and concept design through to construction and handover.
- Oversee project budgets, programmes, procurement and commercial performance.
- Manage multidisciplinary consultant teams, contractors and key stakeholders.
- Lead design management, tendering and procurement processes.
- Act as the client's representative, providing strategic advice and protecting their interests.
- Manage project risks, variations,



contracts and delivery milestones.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities.
- Provide leadership, reporting and commercial direction across project teams.

PROJECT EXPERIENCE.

Experience across the following sectors will be highly regarded:

- Retail and commercial developments.
- Education and institutional projects.
- Aged care and retirement living.
- High-rise residential and mixed-use developments.

ABOUT YOU.

- Minimum 4 years' experience in client-side project management.
- Experience working within a project management consultancy.
- Demonstrated exposure to projects across one or more of the sectors outlined above.
- Strong understanding of project delivery, procurement, contracts and commercial management.
- Proven ability to coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to project delivery.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
