Senior Project Engineer – Civil Perth, WA | Full-Time | Permanent Nixor Workforce are currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a growing civil construction company in Perth.

This is a hands-on role suited to a Civil Engineer who enjoys being involved across project delivery, site, commercial and client management. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects and play a key role within a close-knit team.

You’ll be involved in managing civil projects from planning and procurement through to construction and completion.

Responsibilities:

Managing civil infrastructure projects and key work packages

Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants

Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements

Developing construction methodologies, programs and resource plans

Managing project costs, procurement, variations and forecasting

Preparing RFIs, technical documentation and progress reports

Working through technical and construction issues on site

Coordinating quality, testing and project documentation

Liaising with clients, consultants, local authorities and other stakeholders

Supporting tenders, estimates and project planning

Providing guidance and support to Engineers and junior team members





Ideal candidate will present:

A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent

5+ years’ civil construction/project engineering experience

Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects

Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, roads, pavements and concrete

Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities

Valuable understanding of project costs, variations, claims and forecasting

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and survey information

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

A practical, hands-on approach to problem solving

Australian Driver’s Licence

Construction White Card
