About the role As an Accounts Officer at ICMS Australasia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company's financial operations. This full-time position based in our Sydney office, will involve a range of accounting and administrative duties to support the Financial Controller.

What you'll be doing

Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner

Reconciling accounts and maintaining detailed financial records

Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements

Providing support to the Financial Controller and other departments as needed

Identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise

Adhering to all relevant accounting standards and company policies

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or other finance qualifications such as a certificate or diploma

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar accounts officer or accounting support role

Strong attention to detail and a proven track record of accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation

Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. Prior experience using Attaché accounting software and Excel will be highly regarded.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders





Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Keen interest in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations
