We're looking for
experienced, compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers
to join our growing team across Logan, Beenleigh and surrounding suburbs.
About the Role You’ll be supporting participants with diverse and complex disability support needs, including:
Personal Care:
Showering, toileting, dressing, grooming and daily living assistance.
Complex Behaviours:
Supporting participants with behaviours of concern using Positive Behaviour Support and trauma-informed approaches.
Vision Impairment:
Assisting participants who are blind or have significant vision impairment with daily activities, safe mobility and community access.
Non-Verbal Communication:
Recognising individual communication cues and using alternative communication methods.
Community Participation:
Supporting independence, social inclusion and meaningful activities.
Daily Living:
Meal preparation, domestic assistance and maintaining established routines.
About You We’re seeking confident, emotionally mature and proactive support workers who can build genuine connections while maintaining professional boundaries.
Essential Requirements
Demonstrated disability support experience, particularly with complex support needs.
Current NDS Worker Screening Clearance.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
Australian driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Commitment to participant safeguarding and person-centred support.
Experience with intellectual disability, autism, complex behaviours, vision impairment and non-verbal participants is highly regarded.
