Role Description This is a contract Quality Assurance Tester role based in Brisbane City, QLD, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. In this role, the tester will execute test plans and test cases across web and mobile applications, verify functionality against requirements, and identify, document, and track defects through to resolution. Day-to-day tasks include performing manual testing, validating fixes, collaborating with developers and business analysts, and contributing to the refinement of test processes and documentation. The tester will also help ensure that quality standards are met, provide transparent feedback on product readiness,



and support continuous improvement of testing practices. Qualifications
• Strong Quality Assurance and Manual Testing skills, with experience validating software against functional and non-functional requirements.
• Proficiency in Test Execution and working with structured Test Cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and troubleshoot defects effectively.
• Experience with defect tracking tools and test management systems, and familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and quality issues.
• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) or equivalent practical experience are highly regarded.
• Exposure to low-code platforms or rapid application development environments is an advantage but not required.
