About The Role
You will be based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has provided outstanding healthcare for more than 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the veteran community, the hospital now delivers a broad range of specialist and general health services to the communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and surrounding areas. The position will work alongside another part time therapist to provide full time cover across the week and work alongside the multidisciplinary team on this ward. The position will be offered clinical supervision and networking with the other Diversional Therapists employed at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and across Sydney Local Health District Hospitals. • Must hold a health science or applied science bachelor degree in leisure, recreation or diversional therapy recognised by the Diversional Therapy Association of Australian National Council, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills and clinical experience in Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work and Nutrition and Dietetics clinical practice.
