About the role
Cochrane Entertainment & Praxis Live create and deliver major live events worldwide. We are looking for an organised, proactive Events Project Coordinator to support our Director and General Manager across high-profile event concepts, research projects and creative delivery. This is a hands-on role in a boutique, fast-moving events business. You will keep projects moving, coordinate stakeholders and creative workflows, manage documentation, and support research and reporting. What you’ll do
• Coordinate timelines, milestones, deliverables and follow-ups across multiple live event concepts.
• Schedule meetings, workshops and stakeholder briefings; prepare agendas, minutes and action lists.
• Act as a central contact between leadership, external partners and the graphic design team.
• Support research into music and live entertainment trends, including artists, festivals, audiences and competitors.
• Assist with drafting, proofreading and structuring report decks; brief designers on layout requirements.
• Maintain organised digital filing systems, document repositories and project archives.
• Provide responsive administrative support in a rapid-paced,



deadline-driven setting. What you’ll bring
• 3+ years’ experience in project coordination, events administration, executive support or a similar role.
• Excellent organisation, communication, proofreading and attention to detail.
• Confidence with Microsoft Office, G Suite and AI productivity tools on Mac and PC.
• Availability for regular meetings on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane.
• Initiative, discretion, adaptability and a collaborative, can-do attitude. Nice to have: experience in live entertainment, festivals, attractions or exhibitions; report or presentation production; relevant tertiary studies.

What we offer
• $40–$45 per hour + superannuation, depending on experience.
• Hybrid work: work from home, with regular meetings on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane.
• 6 Month Contract with the opportunity to become permanent. Hours will range from 20
- 38 hours
- guaranteed min of 20 hours per week.
• The opportunity to contribute to major international live event projects.
