You will be responsible for delivering the highest standard of Catering Service within the hospital to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment. This post includes cleaning equipment which is a physically demanding job. Previous work in a catering environment is essential, and training will be provided. You must have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative, follow instructions and possess good communication skills. You must also be able to respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure. You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment. for these posts are 18 hours per week to be discussed at interview. Shifts are for evenings and weekend, (7pm finish) and enhancements are paid for weekend work.
