We are seeking experienced Senior Legal Officers to join our team with a number of roles available. These roles offer the opportunity to work on complex and meaningful legal matters across environmental protection, administrative law, conduct of litigation, legislative reform, government contracts and enforcement. You will provide trusted legal advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders, and depending on the role, conduct litigation, prepare legal documentation and contribute to the development of contemporary legislation and regulatory approaches. In addition to your legal practice, you will contribute to legislative reviews and help build legal capability across the organisation through the development and delivery of legal education, training and compliance programs. regulation and environmental protection. About you The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
• You must currently be admitted as a legal practitioner in NSW or immediately eligible to hold a practising certificate in NSW.
• Generally, you will have three or more years post qualification or equivalent experience.
• You are an experienced legal professional who can provide sound, practical and strategic legal advice in a complex government and regulatory environment.
