JC Assist is seeking a qualified and registered Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary health and disability services organisation.

This is an opportunity for a motivated psychologist who is looking for flexible part-time employment, a supportive working environment and the opportunity to develop their clinical caseload within an established organisation.

What we offer

● Direct employment: Permanent part-time employment with JC Assist.

About the remuneration structure

Your employment will commence at $65 per hour plus superannuation, with opportunities for remuneration progression up to $75 per hour.

Progression will be reviewed against agreed caseload development milestones, clinical contribution and professional responsibilities.

About the role

The successful applicant will provide psychological assessment and intervention services to a diverse client population.

The role may involve:

● General psychological assessments.

● ADHD assessments, subject to appropriate qualifications and competency.

● Individual psychological therapy.

● Medicare-funded psychological services,

● WorkCover psychological services,

● NDIS-related psychological services.

● Clinical reports and recommendations.

● Collaboration with other health and disability professionals.

Team Collaboration and Department Development

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the Practice Manager, Director and Administration Team to support the ongoing development, growth and effective operation of the JC Assist Psychology Department.

This includes:

● Working collaboratively with the Practice Manager to support the development and expansion of the Psychology Department.

● Maintaining open communication and positive working relationships with the administration team.

● Supporting the development and implementation of efficient clinical and administrative processes.

● Contributing to service improvements, departmental planning and workflow development.

● Assisting with the development of referral pathways and opportunities to grow the psychology caseload.

● Providing appropriate clinical guidance to administration staff regarding psychology service requirements, appointment processes and client pathways.





● Participating in team discussions and contributing skilled insights to improve service delivery.

● Supporting a positive, professional and collaborative team culture.

We are looking for someone who is interested not only in delivering quality psychological services but also in contributing to the growth and development of a successful psychology service within JC Assist.

About you

To be considered for this position, you will have:

● Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.

● An appropriate recognised psychology qualification.

● Strong assessment, clinical and communication skills.

● The ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

● A commitment to ethical, person-centred and evidence-based practice.

● A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the development of the Psychology Department.

We welcome applications from General and Clinical Psychologists with relevant experience.

Location and working arrangements

● Based at our Lilydale clinic.

● Approximately 15 guaranteed paid hours per week.

● Part-time employment with opportunities for additional hours as the service grows.

● Working days and scheduling to be discussed with the successful applicant.
