We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and practical Station Hand to join our close-knit, hardworking station team. Reporting directly to the Station owner & leading hand, you will help run day-to-day operations across a large-scale beef cattle enterprise. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who loves working outdoors and building broad rural skills

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Cattle Work: Mustering, drafting, processing, and trucking cattle (on motorbikes and/or horseback).
- Livestock Care: Monitoring animal health, feeding, and recording stock movements.
- Water & Infrastructure: Checking stock watering points, cleaning troughs, and maintaining bores and pipelines.
- Property Maintenance: Building and repairing fence lines and working cattle yards.
- Plant & Equipment: Performing daily routine checks,



minor servicing, and general maintenance on station vehicles, bikes, and machinery.

Selection Criteria

- Demonstrated experience handling livestock in a calm, low-stress manner.
- Willingness to work both independently and cooperatively within a larger station crew.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable living and working in a remote or regional outback environment

Pay: $27.55 – $37.55 per hour
