Position: Experienced Baker (Casual)
Hours: 1 day per week – 6.5 hours per week

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate baker to join our café on a casual basis, one day per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a selection of fresh pastries, cakes and sweet treats for our café display. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their baking, has an eye for presentation and can consistently produce high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of fresh pastries, cakes and sweet treats.
- Prepare products suitable for café display and takeaway.
- Ensure all baked goods are fresh, attractive and consistently presented.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and food safety.
- Keep the baking area clean, organised and tidy.
- Manage ingredients and minimise food waste.
Skills and Experience
- Previous professional baking experience is essential.
- Experience making cakes, pastries, slices, muffins and other café-style baked goods.
- Good attention to detail and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Reliable, organised and passionate about baking.
