Treetops Tavern is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our friendly and supportive team!
We currently have three exciting opportunities available across our kitchen and bottle shop operations.
1. Sous Chef – Full Time
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sous Chef to work alongside our Head Chef and support the smooth day-to-day operations of our busy kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, cooking and presentation to a high standard
- Supervise, guide and support kitchen staff
- Maintain consistent food quality, hygiene and safety standards
- Assist with stock control and daily kitchen operations
- Ensure efficient and smooth service during busy periods
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role
- Strong leadership, teamwork and organisational skills
- A positive attitude, robust work ethic and willingness to take initiative
Salary: Competitive remuneration based on experience.
2. Kitchen Hand – Casual (20–30 Hours per Week)
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to support our kitchen team and help maintain a clean and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation
- Support the kitchen team with daily operations
What We're Looking For:
- Reliable, hardworking and a team player
- Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential
- Flexible availability, including weekends
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
3. Bottle Shop Attendant – Casual (25–38 Hours per Week)
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Bottle Shop Attendant to join our team and provide excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service
- Operate POS systems and process customer transactions
- Replenish stock and maintain attractive store displays
- Assist with deliveries and stock management
- Comply with responsible service of alcohol requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Previous retail or bottle shop experience preferred
- A reliable, proactive and team-oriented attitude
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- Current RSA certificate or willingness to obtain one before commencing work
