We are looking to add to our team to our venue as we take our business to the next level. with Bar/Duty Manager , supporting our business in providing outstanding service. We are seeking the right people who envisages longevity in the role, to allow themselves to develop professionally as our business grows. Someone who can bring their ideas and enthusiasm to support the growth of the business and motivate a team to deliver their best. Oversee all areas and working collaboratively with departmental managers. Create and support incentives in food, beverages and promotions across the venue. A hands-on approach encouraging best practice and compliance from your team, while creating that buzz and atmosphere across our venue. This role could potentially suit an experienced bar supervisor who is ready to take the next step up.
What You'll do:
- Provide friendly, professional and quality service to all our patrons
- Oversee day to day operations of the venue
- Managing a positive and productive work environment for our Staff
- Order & Manage stock levels and maintain supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing and health and safety standards
- Manage back office operations such as till programming
- Assisting in all areas as required to ensure smooth operation at all times
- Managing multiple functions, including meeting with clients & planning
What we're looking for:
- Hospitality experience working as a Bar Manager or a similar leadership role
- A minimum of 1-2 years of Bar Manager or similar leadership experience
- A knowledge of Beer, wine and spirits
- Experience with POS and back office systems (preferably Lightspeed)
- Leadership & communication skills
- Approved Managers certificate & Current RSA certification
- A passion for hospitality & customer service
- A keen attention to detail
- An ability to thrive in quick paced high pressure situations
