Bemerry Cafe is a vibrant, quick-growing cafe located in Doncaster East. We pride ourselves on exceptional service and high-quality offerings. We are currently looking for a passionate, reliable, and hands-on Assistant Cafe Manager / Senior All-Rounder to lead our close-knit evening team of 5–10 staff members.Position Details:

- Availability: 4 to 6 days a week (Must be available for evening shifts).
- Hours: 5:00 PM until 10:30 PM / 11:00 PM.
- Location: Doncaster East, VIC.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate, and manage a small evening team of 5–10 staff members, ensuring smooth floor operations.
- Food & Beverage Preparation: Prepare high-quality drinks, assist with light food preparation, and maintain strict food safety standards.
- Customer Service & Marketing: Greet and serve customers, handle enquiries, and assist with localized community marketing efforts.
- End-of-Day Operations: Manage cash registers, ensure the venue is securely locked, and maintain a spotless, organized environment at close.

Requirements:

- Language Fluency:



Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese). This is essential as a large percentage of our local customer base and community marketing initiatives are Chinese-speaking.
- Holiday Availability: Applicants must have NO holiday plans for December and January. However, please note that the cafe is fully closed on all public holidays and between 25 December and 1 January.
- Experience: Prior experience in a cafe, hospitality, or customer-facing supervisor role is highly preferred.
- Reliability: Must have reliable transport to get home safely after 11:00 PM closing shifts.
