Summary:

Ramsay Builders is a boutique residential builder based in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. We partner with homeowners and developers to deliver custom homes, townhouses and knockdown rebuilds with care and precision.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of multiple high-end custom residential building projects.

Working closely with the Director and office team, you will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone with a strong trade background, proven supervisory experience and a genuine passion for quality construction.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the delivery of multiple residential construction projects, typically managing 3–10 projects at various stages.
- Plan and manage construction schedules, budgets, costs and project milestones.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers and consultants to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery.
- Monitor construction progress, proactively identify risks and resolve site issues.
- Take a hands-on approach to site management, including being willing to pick up the tools and undertake minor practical site works when required, such as repairing boundary fences and fitting door locks.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, NCC requirements and OHS standards.
- Maintain accurate project schedules,



site diaries and progress reporting.
- Liaise with clients, the Director and internal office team to ensure effective project communication.
- Coordinate project handovers, defects and warranty maintenance.

Requirements:

- A strong trade background, such as bricklaying, carpentry or a related construction trade
- Proven experience supervising and delivering multiple high end custom builds
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, including basement construction
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including OHS compliance and incident reporting procedures
- Clear understanding of BCA / NCC and relevant building regulations
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Accuracy, excellent attention to detail and strong commitment to quality
- Reliable, dedicated, with a can-do attitude and approach
- Excellent communication, team player and problem-solving skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office and experience using Wunderbuild or similar software
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A white card and drivers license
