About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Echocardiographer (Echo Tech) to join our growing team at our private cardiaology clinic.

We welcome applications from both experienced Echocardiographers and trainees who are interested in developing their skills and building a career in cardiac ultrasound.

This is a casual position with flexible working arrangements. Working days and hours will vary depending on patient bookings and clinic requirements, with opportunities for both half-day and full-day shifts including weekeneds.

Key responsibilities

- Perform transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) examinations.
- Obtain high-quality cardiac ultrasound images and Doppler measurements.
- Assist in assessing cardiac structure and function.
- Ensure accurate documentation and appropriate image storage.
- Provide professional, compassionate and patient-centred care.
- Work collaboratively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice, infection control and patient confidentiality.

Essential criteria

- Relevant echocardiography qualifications or current enrolment in an appropriate training pathway.




- Interest and commitment to developing skills in cardiac ultrasound.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring and professional approach to patient care.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Desirable criteria

- Previous experience performing echocardiograms.
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathology.
- Experience with cardiac ultrasound equipment and imaging systems.
- Relevant professional accreditation or registration.
- Work eligibility, Australian citizens, permanent residents and visa holders with valid work entitlements are welcome to apply.
