About The Role
We're looking for an experienced Head Miller to join the team at our animal feed mill in Hope Valley, WA. This is a hands-on role for someone with deep feed milling knowledge who understands what good looks like and can use that expertise to troubleshoot issues and build capability across the team. The successful candidate will guide the team and help ensure we consistently deliver safe, reliable and high-quality production. You'll be responsible for:
• Leading and coordinating day-to-day feed milling operations.
• Providing hands-on technical expertise to troubleshoot milling and interpret operating trends.
• Monitoring and optimising key process parameters
• Identifying equipment and process issues and working closely with Maintenance where required.
• Building solid technical milling knowledge and capability across the team.
• Supporting shift coverage and rostering.
• Maintaining strong safety, quality and compliance standards, including FeedSafe and HACCP requirements. About You You're an experienced feed milling professional who has built strong technical knowledge and is comfortable getting into the detail when something isn't running as it should. You can look at process information, identify trends,



troubleshoot problems and give the team practical advice on how to improve performance. The suitable candidate will possess:
• Strong hands-on feed milling experience with deep technical knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and optimise milling processes using operational data and process trends.
• Experience across areas such as grinding, batching, mixing, pelleting and cooling.
• Experience supporting production planning, shift coverage and/or rostering.
• Confidence working with process-control technology and automated plant systems. SCADA knowledge will be highly regarded.
• An Advanced Feed Milling qualification or equivalent/progress towards one is desirable. What's on offer at Mauri?
