Due to ongoing project demand across Perth metro, they are currently seeking a skilled, reliable Front End Loader Operator to join their operational team servicing their South of the River asphalt batch plants. ABOUT THE ROLE
Role Operating a Komatsu WA480-5 Wheel Loader, you will play a critical role in keeping plant production running smoothly while assisting with general site operations:
• Primary Operator Duties: Safely operate a Komatsu WA480-5 loader to feed cold aggregates, sand, and raw materials into batch plant hoppers.
• Stockpile & Yard Management: Maintain, push up, and organise aggregate stockpiles to ensure continuous material availability.
• Plant Support & Labouring: Assist plant operators and maintenance crews with routine plant clean-downs, conveyor maintenance, and site housekeeping.
• Safety & Inspection: Conduct daily machine pre-start checks, track operational logs, and maintain strict workplace health and safety (WHS) compliance. SHIFT & WORK PATTERN:
• Standard Hours: Monday to Friday (Day Shift focus); 5am starts
• Flexibility Required: Occasional weekend work and periodic night shifts depending on major civil road paving schedules.



REQUIREMENTS &

SKILLS:
• Proven

Experience:
Preferred, solid hands-on operating experience on medium-to-large wheel loaders. If no experience, we can train you
• Verification of Competency: Ability to pass a formal site Verification of Competency (VOC) on the WA 480-wheel loader prior to starting.
• Mandatory

Qualifications:
- National Heavy Rigid (HR) or C-Class Driver's Licence. PRE-EMPLOYMENT COMPLIANCE:
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Front End Loader Ticket (preferred).
• Physical Fitness & Attitude: Mechanically inclined, reliable, and willing to roll up your sleeves for manual labouring and maintenance tasks as required. All successful applicants must be able to pass a comprehensive Pre-Employment Medical assessment, including a laboratory Drug & Alcohol screen. Random D&A; testing is strictly enforced on site.
